Erste bank harmonized business based on provision of the Croatian National Bank according to which damaged - coloured banknotes are:
- coloured banknotes, whether the entire surface of the banknote is coloured or if there are partial traces of colour on the edge of banknotes;
- banknotes with cut-off burnt edges;
- coloured banknotes which look as if they were coloured in the washing machine while being washed with laundry of the same colour.
Said notes are taken by the Bank only with a completed Replacement of Damaged Banknotes. The Bank will send received banknotes to the Croatian National Bank for expert analysis. If the Croatian National Bank evaluates that the banknotes are not valid, the Bank will charge the calculated value on the Client's Business Account.
If the damaged-coloured banknotes were received without the said Request, the Bank is under the obligation to return the banknotes back to the Client as insured mail.
