Erste banka initiates the programme of paid student internship “The Dress Rehearsal”

Zagreb, 30 April 2015 – In order to enable students to apply the acquired knowledge of economy, Erste&Steiermärkische Bank d.d. (Erste banka) has, in cooperation with Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb, initiated the programme of paid student internship named “The Dress Rehearsal”. The programme is intended for full-time and excellent students of the first year of graduate study, and in addition to the educational part, it includes working with mentor and participating in everyday operation of Erste banka’s organisational units. The student internship will last from June to August, i.e. during the three summer months, 40 hours a week, and the students will receive a monthly pay amounting to HRK 1,600.

The goal of the programme is to enable students who are just about to finish their studies and start looking for employment, to apply in practice the knowledge they have acquired studying and to provide them with new knowledge and experience. The internship encompasses the educational part that consists of the introductory lecture and soft skills training, working with mentor and participating in everyday operation of an organisational unit within the bank. Prior to accepting them, the students will go through the selection process during which the ten best students will be selected to participate in the programme.

The students who wish to apply for “The Dress Rehearsal” programme, can apply until 8 May 2015 via e-mail generalnaproba@erstebank.com. In addition to the curriculum vitae, the transcript of grades and the certificate guaranteeing their full-time student status, the students have to write an essay titled “My biggest achievement”.
