Gordana Zagorec new director of travel agency DC Travel

Zagreb, 24 September 2015 – Erste Card Club d.o.o. (ECC) has appointed Gordana Zagorec as director of the travel agency DC Travel. With her professional experience in tourism and marketing she will help advance the agency’s business and reinforce its market position.

Gordana Zagorec is coming to the helm of DC travel from the tourism industry. Among other positions, she was the marketing and sales executive in PBZ American Express d.o.o., from where she transferred to the same position in Maistra d.d., Rovinj. She was also director of the Korinjak hotel on the Island of Iz and executive director of Hotel Pag. Prior to her latest appointment she was working in Millenium promocija as a strategic consultant and head of special projects in tourism, marketing and PR.

Apart from her extensive experience in tourism, she is also a lecturer at the Edward Bernays College of Communication Management and member of the World Federation of Travel Journalists and Writers, FIJET Croatia.

She completed an MBA study in international economics at the University of Trieste in 1997, after having graduated in marketing from the Faculty of Economics in Osijek in 1996. She is proficient in Italian and English.

Her predecessor Slađana Petrović will continue her career in DC Travel, as assistant director for financial operations and B2B.
