Erste Plavi voluntary pension savings now available at Wiener osiguranje

Zagreb, 14 July 2016 – Erste d.o.o. mandatory and voluntary pension fund management company (Erste Plavi) and Wiener osiguranje Vienna Insurance Group (Wiener osiguranje) have arranged a cooperation in which voluntary pension savings products will be offered at more than 100 Wiener insurance locations in Croatia.

The cooperation involves products that provide clients with an additional income in retirement, and are flexible in allowing clients to choose a monthly contribution between HRK 100 and 500. In addition to regular returns, which amounted to 3.85% for Erste Plavi Protect on 31 December 2015 (average annual return since establishment is 5.75%) and 6.88% for Erste Plavi Expert on 31 December (average annual return since establishment is 5.64%), clients also receive a financial incentive from the state for their voluntary pension savings, which amounts to 15% of their total annual contribution to the pension savings up to a maximum of HRK 750 a year. Erste Plavi Protect is designed for more conservative investors, offering stability, continuous moderate growth and a shorter period of saving for retirement. Erste Plavi Expert is dynamic and offers a higher growth potential over a longer term. Erste Plavi Expert had the highest return in the category of open voluntary pension funds in 2015, and Erste Plavi Protect had positive annual returns even at the time of crisis.
