Assets of Erste Adriatic Bond exceed HRK 1 billion
Zagreb, 7 September 2016 – The assets of Erste Adriatic Bond have exceeded the amount of HRK 1 billion, thus further strengthening its position as Croatia’s leading bond fund. On 6 September 2016, the fund’s assets amounted to HRK 1,036,547,367.73 and the yield from 1 January to 6 September 2016 amounted to 4.80%.
“From the start, Erste Adriatic Bond attracted many clients, mostly physical persons, but also Croatian and foreign institutional investors. We further strengthened the position of Erste Asset Management as one of the leading investment fund management companies in our country, but also in entire South East Europe. We are also very pleased that the combined assets of our three funds now exceed HRK 1 billion”, Josip Glavas, the President of the Management Board of Erste Asset Management, stressed on the occasion.
Erste Adriatic Bond is designed for more conservative investors, physical and legal persons who aim to obtain an adequate yield by investing their funds for the recommended period of a minimum of two years with a moderate risk level. The fund predominantly invests in debt securities and money market instruments in Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria.
On 6 September 2016, Erste Asset Management’s total assets under management in the Republic of Croatia, including the private portfolio management service, amounted to more than HRK 4.37 billion, 3.67 billion of it in UCITS funds, 237 million in alternative funds and 473 million in individual portfolios. Asset under management grew by more than 30% in 2016.
